So today I was listening to the radio just enjoying the ride and listening to some good talk radio when I heard the most offensive commercial ever. There is this company that is looking for clients who want to have an extra marital affair. I seriously thought it was a joke at first but it is not. They had people talking saying things like that they weren't attracted to their spouse anymore and that they only thought of them as a best friend but they needed more sexually. So this particular company provides this service. I am seriously disappointed in our society. Some how we need to get this commercial off the air but I have no idea how to go about it. So I decided to blog about it and get ideas on how to get rid of this commercial and really this company. I do not want my kids living in this kind of world but it just seems to keep getting worse. I will do everything in my power to protect them and if that means by getting rid of companies like this than so be it.

Resolutions
So I had one of those not so good days yesterday. I can't even really explain why but I was a crankster. I couldn't snap out of it so the ones that suffered was my family. I hate when I am that way towards my family. When I feel times are tough my mom always says that these are the best times because your kids are with you all the time. You know where they are at all times. She was trying to tell me to enjoy it now because when they are teenagers they aren't always under the same roof and we mothers worry more.
Then to top it off I didn't get to bed until 11:30 and that was when the baby decided to get fussy so I actually didn't get to sleep until almost 12:30. As I was lying in bed, I came to the conclusion that I was cranky because of the lack of sleep. It is not because my baby doesn't sleep well. It is because when I put my kids to bed it is time for ME. So I don't get to bed until late and I suffer the next day. So let me preface this by saying that I don't make new years resolutions but I am going to now.
Stephanie's New Years Resolutions
1. Enjoy my kids more and when I feel those cranky moments coming just talk myself out of it. I think our mind is a very powerful tool and if we really wanted to stop doing something when can talk ourselves into doing it. Now lets just see if it works.
2. I will get to bed by 9 every school night. My kids go to bed between 7 -7:30. So that gives me and 1 1/2 to 2 hours of me time, which is plenty. I need to be more rested when I wake up.
So there you have it - my new years resolutions. Now let's see if I can do it.

Vacation!
I love vacation! We stay up late and we sleep in. The girls were really enjoying every day and I was too. I hate that tomorrow we have to get back to our schedules. But enough about that, let's talk about our vacation. I was once again a bad blogger because I didn't take pictures of them opening presents. I videotaped everything but no pictures. I am really quite disappointed in myself. But here is some pictures of the girls enjoying Ryan's gift - Guitar Hero World Tour
They did this for a little bit then decided to do something they love even more...
posing for the camera!
When our stomachs settled a little from the Chinese food, we had ice cream sundaes. We ended the night by celebrating New Year's Eve with New York and going to bed. We didn't do anything huge for the holiday but we we had so much fun just hanging out eating and watching movies in our pj's. Who could ask for anything more.
